KEYBLEED:

  • In fact, there are massive vulnerabilities that affect nominal percentages of cryptocurrency wallets. At Unciphered, our team of engineers make it their mission to find these exploits, patch them when possible, and inform users that they are vulnerable so they can move their money if patching is not possible.

But there is a more catastrophic trend in the cryptosphere.

While perfect cryptography and perfect code perfectly implemented creates a very secure product, this is rarely the case. Specifically with cryptocurrency, this creates a problem: once a wallet is generated, the flaws in its creation are baked into it permanently.

In these cases, the wallet cannot be secured after the fact and people must move their crypto. The only way to know if your wallet is affected by one of these issues is to check it with KeyBleed’s wallet checker against known and often unreleased exploits that we have discovered or been made aware of.

  • We are consistently finding flaws in cryptocurrency wallet platforms. Here are a few examples (along with a case study based on our work):

  • We are a group of engineers, white-hat hackers, and exploit developers that believe in helping the landscape of cryptocurrency continue to evolve by supporting liquidity and protecting peoples’ assets.

Satoshi said, “Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.”

We strongly disagree with the framing of that sentiment. Coins that have been lost, stolen, or locked out should be treated as what they are - a tragedy.
